Here is the schedule for the Breckenridge Bridal Bash, which is sponsored by local bridal companies and other business in Breckenridge, Colorado.

On Friday, June 1st, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, there is a registration and welcome reception hosted at the Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant and Cantina

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, explore the Breckenridge Main Street Area on foot with a sampling of local cuisine. Participating restaurants which will provide you with, tastings, discounts and specials. It’s a great time to explore different venues for your rehearsal dinner, intimate family gathering or welcome reception for your special day.

On Saturday, June 2nd, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, enjoy the Wedding Expo at The Riverwalk Center.  This is an unique opportunity to meet and talk with the local wedding vendors and industry experts that make Breckenridge the Colorado wedding destination of choice.

These vendors have been in the wedding industry for many years and each work very well with the other helping you create a seamless event. Vendors include catering, photography, flowers, wedding planning, hair & make-up, spa services, transportation services, event rentals and more.

Educational Sessions will be held throughout the morning. Presented by our industry leaders, you will receive the tips, trade secrets and tools to make planning your Breckenridge Wedding an enjoyable success!

From 12:30 to 1:30pm,  Beaver Run will host a buffet lunch in their gorgeous Imperial Ball Room. It is sure to be yummy.

From 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm,  sit back and relax while shuttles drive you around town to explore everything Breckenridge, Colorado has to offer from Private Homes, Full Service Resorts, Mountain Lodges to Unique Outdoor Venues.

At 6:30 pm, wet your whistle at the cocktail hour hosted at Mountain Thunder Lodge

The Breckenridge Peak 8 Fun Park opens on June 16, 2012 in Breckenridge, Colorado. To learn about the great rides and adventures, keep reading!

Where Should You Stay on a Breckenridge, Colorado Vacation?

The Timber Creek Retreat sleeps 28, includes eight TVs, six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two patios and a three car garage. It is located near Blue River, about eight minutes from Main Street. This amazing private home has three levels.

On the main level there is an elegant living room with a vaulted ceiling and 20 ft rock fireplace, a spacious dining room that can seat ten people, a breakfast table for 5 and the breakfast bar for 4 more.

The dining room seats eight and there is room for more at the cozy breakfast table in the fully-stocked, totally modern, high tech open kitchen.

There is a “Kid Zone” that includes a built in movie projector and screen, DVDs, dart board, pool table, foos ball; full-bed convertible puzzle sofas, soft drink bar, games and CDs galore. The master suite on the main floor has every amenity you could desire: king bed, armoire housing TV, Jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower; and overly-magnificent views.

32nd Annual Breckenridge Festival of Film

As we mentioned in Breckenridge, Colorado events for June, the Breckenridge Festival of Film is making its annual appearance from June 7-10. If you want to learn more about this fantastic film festival, keep reading!

For over a quarter century Breckenridge Festival of Film has celebrated the art of film making. Each spring a unique and varied array of independent films, premieres, receptions, educational programs that take place at the RiverWalk Center in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado.

New York Film Critic Jeffrey Lyons once said about the festival: “There is no Festival like Breckenridge. A large Indie presence, Colorado Premiers of Hollywood Feature Film, up-close and personal with the stars, but with a warmth and intimacy all its own even if it snows in June!”

The people behind the Breckenridge Festival of Film say its mission is “to enrich lives through the ideas and emotions inspired by the art of film making.”

The film festival is also way to celebrate independent filmmakers, enrich the cultural community of Summit County, and provide an educational, creative and inspirational learning environment where participants can focus on their craft and interact intimately with guest filmmakers and mentor through a four-day annual film festival and throughout the year.

In a spectacular setting 9,600 feet above sea level, Breckenridge is located approximately 80 miles west of Denver, on a beautiful drive along interstate 70.
